My good friend Don Howell has been a huge help to the museum. He ran National Aircraft, one of the aircraft yards adjoining Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson for many years. Don over the years has sold to me a large amount of instrument panels, radios, electronics, radar displays, instruments, oxygen tanks, seats, microphones, and a lot of other hard to find parts for the Douglas C-118 and Boeing C-97 fuselage segments in the museum. He always gave me a good price and worked hard to find items he didn't have in his inventory. The most important item from him was the Boeing KC-97L main instrument panel to replace the one missing from the cockpit. On one of his visits to the museum, he brought his lovely daughter, Dianne Stewart.
