General Stanley Newman, Oklahoma Air National Guard (Retired) visited on March 9, 2018 along with his son George who flew F-15 Eagles in the United States Air Force and Steve Link. General Newman flew photo recon F-6 (P-51) Mustangs with the Ninth Air Force during World War II. He later commanded the Oklahoma Air National Guard including during the time they operated the Douglas C-124 Globemasters. In a couple of the photos below, he is looking at my C-124 panel displays and specifically where I have his name as the commanding officer.
