cimarron field & mustang field memorial

At least 23 people were killed during World War II at Cimarron Field and Mustang Field.  This includes those killed during training flights originating from the two fields as well as ground accidents.  


Another nine civilian instructors  were killed 12/8/44 in a Lockheed Lodestar returning to Cimarron Field from Omaha, Nebraska after ferrying Fairchild PT-19 trainers from Cimarron Field to be sold by the War Assets Administration.
